Sunshine Stars head coach, Bobola Akinfolarin, says that his team is not ready yet for the 2025-26 Nigeria National League, NNL, season.
Sunshine Stars are currently preparing for the new season in Ogun State
Akinfolarin said that the players are responding to his philosophy.
“We’re still a work in progress, but I’m proud of how the boys are responding to our philosophy,” Akinfolarin told Sunshine Stars media.
“Every game gives us a clearer picture of the team we’re building for the coming season. The spirit, discipline, and hunger they showed are exactly what Sunshine Stars stand for.”
The new NNL season will commence on Saturday, 8 November.
