Arsenal legend, Paul Merson, has named the signing Manchester United need to make to challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title next season.
Man United have strengthened manager Erik ten Hag’s squad this summer.
They brought midfielder Mason Mount from Chelsea and goalkeeper Andre Onana from Inter Milan.
But Ten Hag still wants Man United to sign a new striker this summer.
However, Merson believes Man United will become Premier League title challengers next season if they sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur.
DAILY POST reports that Man United have been linked with Kane, Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Atalanta’s Rasmus Hojlund.
In a tweet via his Twitter handle on Thursday, Merson wrote: “Man Utd need to get Kane… Get Kane [and they] will challenge for the Premier League. Don’t get Kane [and they are] fighting for a top-four spot.”
