The Flying Eagles will begin preparations for the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in the new week in Abuja.
The seven-time African champions went on a break after their participation at the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Ladan Bosso’s side finished third in the competition.
The West Africans will discover their World Cup opponents later this month.
The world soccer ruling body, FIFA is expected to name a new host for the biennial competition this week after Indonesia.was stripped of the hosting right.
Argentina is the only country, who have submitted a proposal to host the competition.
The competition will run from May 20 to June 11.
