Sevilla luckily took a point to Spain after a dramatic UEFA Europa League quarter finals first leg clash against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Thursday night.
Los Nervionenses got an important point despite not finding their opponents’ net in the 2-2 draw.
Sevilla went into the break with two goals down but the second half proved to be a miracle with the visitors finding themselves level against their dominant hosts without scoring.
Marcel Sabitzer’s first-half brace (14′, 21′) for United was canceled by own goals from his teammates Tyrell Malacia (84′) and captain Harry Maguire (90+2′) gifting the visitors a cheap point.
Sevilla will host Manchester United In the return leg next at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium, Seville, Spain.
The winner will progress to the semifinals of the UEFA Europa League.
