AS Monaco sporting director, Paul Mitchell has revealed that the club manager, Philippe Clement wants to sign Paris Saint-Germain’s Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe, as well as Al Nassr’s Cristiano Ronaldo on loan.
Monaco defeated PSG 3-1 on Friday night with Les Parisiens without key forwards Messi and Mbappe due to injuries.
Monaco’s goals came through the books of Aleksander Golovin and Wissam Ben Yedder.
Warren Zaire-Emery scored a consolation goal for PSG as the French champions were thoroughly outplayed.
Mbappe left Monaco for Paris just a couple of seasons ago and extended his contract last summer, while Messi is yet to commit to the club.
For Ronaldo, the Portugal captain has just joined Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr in a deal that made him the highest earning sportsman ever.
Speaking with Prime Video Sport, Mitchell revealed that the Monegasque coach had asked him to bring Messi, Ronaldo and Mbappe on loan when asked about their winter transfer deals.
“If Philippe Clément asked me for players? He always asks me for Messi, Ronaldo and Kylian (Mbappé) on loan,” he said.
