Manchester United have been playing with just ten men in their most recent games according to ace British sport journalist, Richard Keys.
The football analyst said this in a swipe at the club’s January edition, Wout Weghorst.
The 30-year-old Dutch striker was on loan at Turkish side Besiktas before his move to Old Trafford.
Back there in Turkey he scored eight goals and provided four assists in 16 league games.
Ten Hag has continued to play the Dutchman in his starting XI despite his lack of goals in 10 appearances for the Red Devils so far.
But Keys has not been impressed by Weghorst’s contributions to the club since his arrival and believes the Red Devils have been playing one man down with the Dutchman on the pitch.
“I mean, he doesn’t do enough to justify a starting place, does he? Come on, let’s be honest!,” Keys told talkSPORT.
Keys’ latest comments come after he mocked Man United for signing ‘lump’ Weghorst during the January transfer window.
Manchester United are now within three points of second-placed Manchester City and five behind Arsenal in the Premier League table.
