Chelsea owner, Todd Boehly is ‘very interested’ in taking over French Ligue 1 club Strasbourg amid early talks with the club president, Marc Keller.
Boehly arrived at Stamford Bridge in the summer, succeeding Roman Abramovich, and has spent over £600million on players in the last two transfer windows.
The American billionaire sacked head coach, Thomas Tuchel last September and replaced him with Graham Potter.
But it has not gone to plan so far, with Chelsea still struggling in the Premier League as they currently sit in 10th position in the league.
The Blues also suffered early exits from both the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup.
However, according to L’Equipe, Boehly has turned his attention to acquiring more clubs and is keen on Strasbourg.
Strasbourg are currently 15th in the Ligue 1 table, and Boehly is said to have already met Keller over a potential sale, in which he would want to acquire 100 per cent of the French top-flight club.
